With more than half of the country’s lawyers registered, we allow users to find the right lawyer for their needs, seek broad legal advice, and explore answers to similar legal questions from past consultations. We also offer a range of services and platforms to support busy lawyers, enhancing their productivity and marketing efforts. Our goal is to become an indispensable social infrastructure and national service to eliminate legal distress from society, akin to emergency services like 911.

Bengo4.com operates Legal Consultation for Everyone, one of Japan’s largest legal Q&A site where only lawyers can post responses. Users can post legal questions free of charge and search through more than 1.3 million user questions and lawyer responses to find guidance on similar issues.

Making lawyers more accessible

Our goal is to address the difficulty in accessing lawyers and make lawyers more accessible. Today, many people with legal problems cannot access legal advice because of the high fees or lack of knowledge about how to find a lawyer. As a result, only about 20% of those with legal problems have access to legal services.
To address these problems, Bengo4.com operates an online legal Q&A site and provides tools to help users find the right lawyer. Through Legal Consultation for Everyone, an open legal Q&A service, the platform shares expert answers to legal issues and disseminates legal knowledge.
Sometimes, however, lawyers are too busy to accept client requests for advice. We also develop legal tech to digitize and streamline legal work, reducing layers' workloads and ensuring everyone has easy access to professional legal advice.
