CloudSign®︎ and Bengoshi.com®︎ Launch Collaborative Program

　Bengo4.com, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Taichiro Motoe; hereafter the “Company”) is pleased to announce that its contract management platform CloudSign®︎ and Bengoshi.com®︎, which operates for the Company one of Japan’s largest legal advice and lawyer search portals, are launching a collaborative program that enables CloudSign®︎ paid plan subscribers to receive, for free, a first check of a written contract performed by a lawyer registered with the portal.

■ Background

　It is not rare that, in today’s business environment, you feel uneasy about the creation and conclusion of a contract in terms of its legal aspects. The more complex a contract is, the more important it is to correctly understand the legal risks and act appropriately. However, creating a contract and ensuring that risks are properly managed are not tasks easy for many companies and self-employed individuals who do not have expertise in legal affairs. People may need to act quickly before they receive legal advice when there are time constraints or if the deadline for signing a contract is drawing near. The goal of this collaboration is to solve the business challenges of today.

　A collaborative program is made available to CloudSign®︎ paid plan subscribers so that they can ask a Bengoshi.com®︎ registered lawyer to check a written contract free of charge. The goal is to dispel subscribers’ legal worries regarding the creation of a contract and to provide an environment that enables them to perform contract-related jobs in a more efficient and reassured manner. The collaborative program addresses needs for speedily verifying legal interpretation in a contract or an in-house problem of having no legal adviser within.

　CloudSign®︎ paid plan subscribers can select a lawyer from the list of lawyers skilled in corporate legal affairs and seek advice on questions and uncertainties regarding the content of a contract. This provides an environment where the subscribers can feel more secure throughout the entire process from the creation of a contract to its conclusion.

- Second and subsequent checks of a contract are not free. Consult the lawyer regarding fees for these checks.

- The Company is not involved in the referral or selection of a lawyer and does not receive additional fees from the customer regarding the Free Contract Check Privilege.
