Notice Regarding Appointment of Executive Officers and CxOs

Bengo4.com, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Taichiro Motoe, Representative Director, President and CEO, Lawyer; hereinafter the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has newly appointed three Executive Officers and CxOs. Under a new management structure, the Company will strengthen the foundations for growth while making even greater contributions to the sustained growth of its businesses as well as society. The professional backgrounds of the three new appointments are given below.

Graduated from Chuo University, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Department of Precision Mechanics.

Joined VSN Ltd. (now AKKODiS Consulting Ltd.), where he was engaged in the design and development of printers as a mechanical Engineer. Later, at Works Applications Co., Ltd. he was involved in the development of the order, delivery, and settlement portions of EC package development.

Joined the Company in April 2013. Served as Executive Officer and Deputy Head of Development before assuming the role of Executive Officer and Chief Information Architect (CIA) in October 2025.

* He is tasked with accurately connecting organizational information, structuring it for secure use, and undertaking the overall design of internal and external information systems.

I am Hironori Takahashi, and have recently been appointed Chief Information Architect (CIA).

With the rapid advancement of generative AI, the role of information is experiencing dramatic shifts in every facet of society, and we have entered an era in which fields that once relied on the experience and knowledge of experts are being accelerated and expanded. However, to demonstrate the true value of AI, we need to properly design the information serving as its foundation, while consistently organizing both meaning and context.

That means accurately connecting information, structuring it for secure use, and delivering that internally and externally as service value. I will make every effort to advance the Company’s vision to “achieve a paradigm shift for a better world.” Thank you for your continued support.

After approximately 20 years at a prime SI company, where he served as an engineer, project manager, and head of service operations, he spent seven years at a prime back-office SaaS company as an executive officer and CPO. He joined Bengo4.com, Inc. in December 2024, where He engaged in product management and development organization management. He was appointed as an executive officer in October 2025.

I am Kei Sugita, and have recently been appointed as an Executive Officer of Bengo4.com. I am profoundly honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the further growth of Bengo4.com, leveraging the many years of experience I have gained in the IT industry, and the insight I have cultivated operating a service business in my previous job as a Chief Product Officer (CPO). I decided to join the team at Bengo4.com after being strongly impressed by the passion of a company truly pursuing social contribution beyond its solid foundation in legal affairs, along with the approach of its top management which values teamwork above all else.

By fully unlocking the potential of Bengo4.com and combining it with the creation of new value, I am committed to growing together with my colleagues and continually expanding the value we offer to society.

Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics. Completed Master’s program at Cornell Law School.

After being admitted to the bar in 2006, practiced finance, M&A, and other areas at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. After studying in the U.S. and working at law firms in London and Hong Kong, joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 2014, handling a wide range of responsibilities including business investment and compliance at the main office and in Singapore. Served as Legal Group Manager at MEDLEY, INC, a medical IT company, from 2021 before joining the Company in July 2024. Currently serves as Head of Corporate Development Division and General Counsel, and Director of LIC Co., Ltd. Appointed Chief Legal Officer (CLO) effective October 2025.

I am Kosuke Maetani, and have recently been appointed CLO of Bengo4.com. Since joining the Company, I have been focused on creating a world in which the Company’s business ensures that people facing legal troubles can receive the support they need in every way possible, while at the same time enabling legal professionals to utilize the Company’s products to provide legal services more accurately and efficiently.

The rapid advances in generative AI are triggering a major shift in the roles of lawyers and legal departments. As CLO during this critical time, I will leverage my more than two decades of legal experience to provide legal tech powered by the latest technologies to users in safe and appropriate formats, while continuing to work closely with our development and operating divisions.
