(Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Taichiro Motoe; hereafter “the Company”) is pleased to announce that its contract management platform CloudSign®︎ has been adopted by the Tokyo Electronic Government Joint Management Council, and has been implemented and supported at 14 municipalities within Tokyo since FY2024.
Besides, CloudSign®︎ has an implementation share of 70% among municipalities across Japan and continues to promote contract digitalization as the servicer that is the most popular*1 among provincial municipalities.

The implementation rate of digital contracts at municipalities within Tokyo (63 including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government) was 4.8% in FY2022 (three municipalities) and 20.6% in FY2023 (13 municipalities including implementation by other companies); however, as a result of this latest implementation, in FY2024, the implementation rate increased to 44.4% (28 municipalities including implementation by other companies), which is far higher than the national average.

At present, e-contracts are used in about 20%*1 of municipalities, but an accelerated spread in some areas is expected to facilitate further growth in the future. This development will promote digital transformation in the regions and will further improve convenience for administration and residents. It is expected that integration and efficiency will increase in order to provide more effective administrative management and services for residents.
