AI Enjo Checker is a tool that allows you check the risk of online criticism before you post something on a social media website or other Internet service. Using generative AI, the tool checks your post to see if there is the risk that it could be considered defamation or be controversial.
It is easy to use. Enter the text you are thinking about posting. The checker will assess the content of the post from three points of view: (1) aggressiveness, (2) discrimination (3) misleading expressions.
If the tool detects any risks regarding the post, the tool will present advice and prompt you to improve the post to make it safer. After the tool checks the content of the post, you can post it directly on various social media websites.
The AI Enjo Checker application is linked with Minna no Horitsu Sodan, the charge-free legal consultation service operated by the Company, allowing users to view similar cases and/or seek legal advice in the case of legal problems.

■ Background
In recent years, problems on the Internet have become more and more serious, such as problems involving defamation or online criticism. In April 2025, the Information Distribution Platform Act was enacted, obliging social media platform operators to promptly respond to victims of defamation and criticism on the Internet. This means today that every single user is required to be responsible for their words and deeds on the Internet, and social media platform operators are as well.
A survey conducted by Professional Tech Lab, a research organization of the Company, revealed that approximately a half of respondents who have defamed someone were not aware that their post was defamatory. The results show that it is possible for many to hurt others without realizing it when posting on the internet. In addition to the mental harm defamatory actions cause, people are legally liable for their actions such as being charged with contempt or defamation. If you thoughtlessly defame someone today, when you can post freely to the internet, it may significantly affect your reputation or life. For these reasons, to prevent yourself from unintentionally victimizing someone, you need to review what you say and how you behave, taking responsibility as a person posting to the internet.
For 20 years, the Company has addressed many different legal problems that consumers have faced leveraging its legal and technological capabilities. The Company used these technological capabilities and the knowledge it accumulated in those 20 years to develop AI Enjo Checker, an online criticism checking tool using generative AI technology, as a special project celebrating the 20th anniversary of its foundation.
The Company will contribute to the reduction of the number of people who encounter legal problems arising from online criticism and defamation by encouraging more people to use AI Enjo Checker.
